As per Clause 6.2 of Karnataka State Road Safety Policy – 2015 ROAD Safety Audit (RSA) is mandatory for all new road construction projects and Road Safety Review (RSR) for all existing roads.
The proceedings of the Supreme Court Committee on Road Safety Committee meeting held on 13th May 2016 has directed to take up Road Safety Audit/Review for all the works costing more than 10 Crores.
Road Safety Audit (RSA) shall be conducted for new roads at Three (3) Stages. Viz, At the Time of Preparation of DPRs, During Construction and After the Completion of the Project.
Road Safety Review (RSR) of roads improved under Phase-3 were undertaken and submitted to Chief Engineer, PRAMC on 07-03-2020.
